UPDATE: talked to FDA

Hi all,

Thank you all for signing - keep sharing so we can bulls the case. I got through to FDA and the person I spoke with had personal experience with food allergies and understood the issue - can’t disclose further. However, here are the next two steps I can recommend:

- write to your congressional and state representative; ask for this to change and revert. And at the very least that manufactures/companies have to put notices of ANY substitution on their site and available information on their 800 numbers

- also call your Consumer Complaint Coordinator, they are tracking each of these calls and complaints. Different number by state, here is the URL: https://www.fda.gov/safety/report-problem-fda/consumer-complaint-coordinators
