The 2017 National 5 physics exam was exceptionally difficult compared to previous years and completing all of the past paper questions was practically useless due to how different most of the questions were from the past papers. Students across the country who are normally very capable physics students found the exam hard and were surprised at how difficult and different the questions were from previous years. It is clear that the grade boundaries need to be lowered so that too many children don't fail.
