It has come to our attention that there have been several instances of “pantsing”, and threats to beat up kids if they “snitched” to parents/teachers.  We would like to understand what course of action the school leadership has taken/ is planning to take regarding this matter. As you know, this is a serious issue and goes beyond bullying and into the realms of sexual assault. Allowing this kind of behavior and sending a message that its “ok” or “no big deal” will certainly escalate this behavior, we all know how it starts.

while we DONOT want the kids to be punished or their records tarnished, we do want the school to address this and reinforce that BULLYING and DISRESPECT will NOT be tolerated.

Please nip it in the bud and let us (parents) know what the plan and actions taken are so that we can rest knowing that the school is still a safe and respectful place where kids can focus on learning.
