Food trucks are operated by individuals on the premise of the freedom of movement. Taking away this takes away from the entrepreneurial spirit that makes these trucks so popular. Their creativity, quality, and spirit brings people back. Instead of punishing them for their right to increase competition, on-campus options should operate on the grounds of the free market - become better. Instead of creating legislation because on-campus dining is struggling, force on campus dining to become better to win over the hearts and stomachs of patrons.

This is ridiculous, food trucks are businesses as well. They're people with families, just like the oncampus food options

This is the only non-pricey food option we have on campus. Please leave them as they are!

I worked at Penn for 12 years and the food trucks are the only good option for lunch.

The food truck scene on Drexel's campus is a sought after destination within Philly's vibrant food scene. It's a business incubator in its present state. Limiting the mobility of these food trucks while also hurting financially would also dilute the quality of Philly's food scene. Who wants that? Is that really a good trade off for increased sales numbers at Drexel's on-campus dining halls? And by the way, I know Drexel touts the strength of their business schools. Teaching collusion as a way to get ahead is a sad, childish way to lead.
