Felling old trees for the sake of leisure is criminal! Find somewhere else to locate where you don’t need to cut down trees. Olinda is sacred. Stop clearing the beautiful trees and instead relocate your project.

We need to retain beautiful spaces where people can relax exercise for free and savour natural beauty.

Existing sporting facilities are enough- Monbulk has plenty just down the hill from Olinda and this park area should remain a peaceful park for locals and visitors

We need to maintain and protect our passive natural spaces for use by all of the community not one special interest group. This land should be seen as a commons and further maintained as a parkland for quiet walks, sight seeing and picnics. We have plenty of sports facilities nearby.

The Dandenong Ranges is a tourist destination with a focus on nature, shopping and food. We already have ample sporting facilities nearby for the small community and don't need a big eyesore of a stadium marring our picturesque locale.

We travel over an hour from Bayside to come to this great place to take our dog for a walk when we have the time on the weekends! He loves it as do many other Melbournians! No one will be interested in making the effort to come to another oval!

There really is too much enthusiasm to concrete places over, when we all need these breathing, open areas
