Cadbury reconsider closure of your Dunedin factory
This petition had 1,625 supporters
Mondelez International announced Thursday the 16th of February 2017 that the Cadbury factory in Dunedin will finally close next year, leaving about 350 people facing an uncertain future.
Cadbury has been the number one employer in Dunedin for over 80 years. To redeploy over 300 people to the workforce in Dunedin is near impossible. For some this has been their main source of income and their sole career.
We ask that Cadbury/Mondelelz International review it's current position with regards to the closure of its Dunedin manufacturing plant. Support our local people and show compassion to those who have invested and been loyal to such a formidable brand here in New Zealand.
