The ladies matches for the Jacksonville USTA league are played on Sunday afternoons during the summer months. This is the hottest time of year and the hottest time of the day. The men’s USTA matches are played on Saturday mornings. It seems this schedule has been in place for many years. The ladies of USTA in Jacksonville propose alternating this schedule every year. The summer heat is very intense and can be overpowering. This can be a deterrent for playing for some people. Please consider alternating this schedule each year so the cooler morning time slot can be shared equally.
