Lenny Curry has lost transparency in his official government Twitter account. He fears negative comments, so he has used a new feature to limit who replies to his tweets. He is an elected official and as such, should be required to accept comments from anyone on his official government Twitter account, or not use it at all. He is not letting the voices of the public be heard, which is very concerning. He has created a platform to distort facts and provide a level of approval that does not actually exist. I’m calling on Lenny Curry personally to end this practice, or in the alternative, have the Jacksonville City Council pass legislation requiring Mr. Curry to be accountable to ALL citizens.
