Unify KC - It's time we ALL RIDE TOGETHER!

The time has come to UNIFY Kansas City residents and increase tourism revenue!
Jackson County and KCATA have acquired 17.7 miles of the Rock Island Corridor to extend the Katy Trail through Jackson County and build a Commuter Rail System from Lees Summit to the sports stadiums in Kansas City.
This type of easily accessible and affordable transportation will increase tourism revenue and open up more career opportunities for citizens who rely on public transportation. Not to mention the ability to participate in more recreational events across the KC Metro communities!
Jackson County has the opportunity to take the lead in building the first link of the 135-mile regional Commuter Rail System. All they need is the revenue to make these improvements and you can help!
It will take 7,200 signatures on a petition to get on the ballot for the April 4, 2017, election — requesting 1/4% tax for Transportation and 1/8% for Tourism. If you are a registered Jackson County voter, please sign the petition today so we can UNIFY KC!
We, the undersigned, as qualified, registered voters living in Jackson County, Missori, hereby, petition to the following: Jackson County shall designate one-quarter cent sales tax for public transportation and one-eighth cent sales tax to increase tourism.
Let's all ride together! Petition deadline is January 31, 2017.
