Designers should welcome the opportunity to make clothing for healthy, 'normal' people - if the clothes don't look good on anything other then a skin and bone frame then the design is flawed. The demands of model agencies mentioned within the petition is both dangerous and outdated, we should follow France's lead on this and make it unlawful.

Women come in all shapes and sizes. We want normal sized women and plus sized women. Not skeletal, sickly looking models who force generation after generation of girls and women to become life threateningly ill through eating disorders. Which are foisted onto their own self image through size zero models! This is cruelty and humanly inappropriate to all females. End skeletal, breast less, misshapen hospital es of size zero models! The disgrace of the fashion industry. And cruelty to the model and altered self imaging to females!!

It’s disgusting seeing these skeletons waking around being praised when they’re actually really messed up physically and mentally with lots of models turning to drugs because of the pressure and lifestyle of modeling
