Jackie Woodburne has been an icon on Australian screens for over 40 years, 28 of those, she has been portraying the role of Susan Kennedy in the Australian continuing drama series, Neighbours, which bought her fame in her birth country of the United Kingdom.

Jackie is known for a number of other TV shows as well as being lead in a Radio drama, "Night Terrace" for the BBC.

As well as being a phenomenal actress and a stalwart on our screens, Jackie and the entire production at Neighbours, has been a major bond between the United Kingdom and Australia for decades. 

She is loved by the cast and crew of the show, but also by millions of fans across the world where she and her screen husband, Alan Fletcher, are seen as surrogate parents to many. 

Northern Irish by birth, Jackie is eligible for the British honours list and her talent and dedication to the show sees her worthy of recognition, be it a CBE, an  MBE or even a Damehood.
