Mr. Jack Groat, of Elk Grove Village, has plans to bring a live panda to the town later this summer/early fall. He plans to raise 150,000 dollars, with the help of local residents, to cover the fee of this event. 

In the past, this man has been responsible for bringing other exotic animals to Elk Grove, such as alligators, zebras, and camels. He has also supported duck and pig races to take place in conjunction with the Little Boots Rodeo. 

Pandas are native to China, and are currently considered a vulnerable species. They have no place in a circus, rodeo, or photo event...and the people of Elk Grove are adamant in declaring their stance on this issue. 

We do not support the exploitation of animals. We do not want a panda in Elk Grove Village.
