The nappy company https://littleandbrave.co.nz provides eco friendly nappies which are made in Aotearoa and are commercially compostable.

If the government funds this company or one similar, this will open up new job opportunities in areas such as factories and composting sites.

Supermarkets would also be able to provide nappies for free or at a reduced price for all families in NewZealand to help reduce poverty and keep our tamariki clean and dry.

Because the nappies are compostable this also means we are reducing our general landfill waste, of which nappies are a significant contributer.

This provides 3 of the major areas (child poverty, pollution and waste problems and the economy) in need in New Zealand with increased support. This supports our working families, our daycare centers, our solo parents, young parents, grandparents and anyone who has a limited budget. It also supports people looking for work to help reduce the poverty they are in, it decreases stress and increases mental wellness and provides a safer, healthier world for our tamariki to grow up in.
