I’m currently a New Zealand business woman exporting for our country, fully vaccinated (only due to the need to travel) and I’m currently in MIQ in a ‘to be decommissioned’ infected covid hotel in Wellington when I live in Auckland. I have filled out forms, applied for pilot plans, sat waiting in lotteries to get my next spot in order to fulfil my overseas contracts and keep my company going and my employees with a job.  I recently had an article in Stuff trying to help a young man back to NZ who was stuck, offering him a place on my couch, yet immigration and MIQ declined him because they were ‘to busy’ to add his name on my form.

1. Why did the government send me and my 150 kg of luggage to Wellington MIQ when I live in Auckland at the tax payer cost?

2. Why am I in the hotel which is in the press for having covid in the vents and they know about it but are still using it for months before they take it off the MIQ list?

3.  Why can the prime minister of New Zealand not trust the citizens to self isolate?

4.  Why are New Zealand people forced to stay at the bottom of the world whilst gets on with life?

I want change against what I believe is a crime against basic human rights, and business.
