Give Randlay it's identity back!

Since approximately February 2015 the Centre of Randlay in Telford has been surrounded by boarding. This was because of the regeneration of the Centre not being quite complete.

Due to the collapse of a proposed elderly residential home a former Councillor for The Nedge requested that the site be boarded up to prevent damage to the site and for health and safety and insurance reasons.

Today the boarding is still standing and residents who I have spoken to are becoming increasingly annoyed with this, some residents calling it "an eyesore" and "making Randlay look like a construction site".

Since being elected to the Council I have shared various emails and phone calls with planning officers and J Ross Developments themselves to try and find a solution to this site, I have also met with one of J Ross' Directors and held two community meetings to try force something to happen. So far I know that there is a proposal in sight to build affordable housing on the site but it is not formal yet and progress is very slow, I am following up with emails and call to the developers and planning officers to keep this issue on their agenda's and make sure we are not forgotten but I feel we can do more, so...

I have decided to start this petition to get the developers to take notice and to see that residents are concerned and want their communities identity back.
