Stop Academy from selling Ruger AR-556 assault weapon

Devin Patrick Kelley, the alleged shooter in Sutherland Springs, TX, bought a Ruger AR-556, an assault-style rifle similar to those used in the military, in April, 2016 from an Academy Sports and Outdoors store in San Antonio. More than 2 dozen people died while attending church.
We go to church and can't imagine something like this happening to us. Politicians in Texas aren't helping the situation by suggesting we take guns to church.
If enough people ask Academy to stop selling these weapons, it's not a total solution, but it's a start. We know the NRA controls Washington but maybe there's another way to make positive change.
