Close all the wine shops of Kashmir Valley ( the land of Saints)
0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!
We request the government of KASHMIR, Shut down the Liquor shop at Srinagar Airport before opening on 2 November.
Every one is well known aware that Kashmir is Muslim majority state. The Kashmir is also known as Reshi Weer. The Name of Srinagar Airport is one of the Kashmiri Saint Shiekul Alam r.a. . He is considered to be founder of the Rishi order of saints which deeply influenced many great mystics like Resh Mir Sàeb , Shamas Faqir till present day.
During his lifetime, he witnessed much change in the valley, from Hinduism to Islam. Various historical events helped to shape his mind in such a manner that he produced some works of philosophy, in his own manner of verses and poetry.
Now we self claimed Muslims are presently forget all Islamic laws and trying to promote anti Islamic laws in our own territory.
- According to Islamic rulings and all jurists` point of view, consumption of wine is forbidden and it is one of the major sins.
Not only drinking wine is forbidden in Islam, but also making, buying and selling it are forbidden.
The main reason for the prohibition of wine is a verse of the Holy Quran which says: “O you who have faith! Indeed wine, gambling, idols and the divining arrows are abominations of Satan's doing, so avoid them, so that you may be felicitous” (5:90).
So it is obligatory for all Muslims to avoid drinking, making, selling, buying and even working in places where they must be in connection with alcohol or wine.
We are suffering presently in our own territory, and because we leave almighty and his Prophet. That is why we are suffering lot of diseases in state. The cancer disease is now everywhere in Kashmir, did we ever think what are we doing for society.
I request to you all sign in the petition and save the next generation for spoiling future.
Thanks and Regards.
