Within the recent past, and over the course of my short life, I have witnessed great pain in the eyes of my mother. In 1995, the life of my mother's 3-month old daughter was brutally and abruptly ended. Her father raped her, and destroyed her body. There was semen on her genital areas and in her genital orifices. Blood, other bodily fluids, and even brain matter seeped from her ear. He wielded her by the legs and swung her hard, several times against a counter. The coroner cited this beating had ended her life. He had also attempted to wash her. This and countless other injuries to her fragile little body showed the malicious intent of her father. He has been awarded a hearing with the parole board this October. Tony has convinced himself and seems to believe that his sentence is over. He was sentenced justly to death and already got out of that sentence. He should have the decency to spend the rest of his natural life in prison. It's the least he could do, for taking a whole life from a 3-month old baby girl.
