Help bring me home

Help bring me home

In November of 2007 I was locked up at 14 years old for 1st degree murder. My case was a beat down case where no weapons were used. The victim passed away due to high liquor levels. I was told I would get to see a juvenile judge and that never happened! Originally I was told I would be charged with 2nd degree manslaughter but due to the fact of my lawyer not showing up for trial they charged me with 1st degree.
My lawyer ran off with my family’s money and did not check in or follow up after knowing I was charged incorrectly. I had 5 codefendants and 2 are home now because they dropped it to a lower charge. I’ve been locked up for 14 years I’m 30 now!
While being in here I’ve obtained my GED, taking college credit courses to obtain my Associates Degree. I’ve taking classes and obtained certificates in Anger management, Critical thinking, Lifestyle redirection, Financial Literacy & Affective communication. Im also a Covid Vaccine Ambassador and a mentor in the building block program in Danville Correctional Center!
Im newly married to my childhood crush and would love to come home to her and her daughter that I call my own. I’m a changed man and would love to show the community what I have to offer. I want to work and provide for my family. I would love to be home with my mom, dad and siblings and nieces and nephews. Please help me make this dream come true I deserve a fresh start.
