Women have significant parts and roles in different aspects in the society. Yet, nowadays, women are being degraded, less prioritized and less important. They remain submissive and unrecognized mostly in terms of work or in the society. This petition aims to help women feel empowered, not only in certain ways but mostly in everything. AWID or Association of Women's Rights in Development may help me in this campaign of gender equality; wherein women's identity may be emphasized. This will help to support women with their rights and achieve their concerns with the community they belong. Such of this example of their concerns is the degradation of women in their workplace. (Hirby) Most of the time, women are being downgraded due to their classification; wherein "men", as they say, are more skillful so they are being hired, favored and promoted than women. This makes women's earning lesser than men in the society. In connection with this, women are treated differently than men. Women, as wives, are also obliged to be obedient to their husbands where they can do limited things and can’t have their own free will.  This truly doesn’t give justice to their identity. Another one is women’s leadership isn’t recognized, specifically in presidency or in different government positions, where they aren’t mostly recognized. This campaign is to advocate everyone to maintain the equality of women in different aspects in the society, specifically to emphasize their rights and responsibilities of other people to them as individuals. (Combating discrimination against women, 2016) There are ways to show these, such as having no discrimination in any work, fight against violence to women and elimination of their submissiveness in different aspects.
