Prioritising a safe convocation for IVS

Prioritising a safe convocation for IVS
Dear IVS Administration and Registrar,
The students demand to have the rehearsal and convocation to be held at the earliest before the government actually imposes a lockdown. These constant delays and prioritising other events are arousing suspicion that the administration does not want this convocation to occur at all owing to lack of funds. This convocation could have been prioritised over other events such as the Abida Parveen concert and Foundation Gala night.
At this point the government may issue a notice but as 2 graduating batches we demand that no other events be prioritised by the school except the convocation immediately after situation normalises.
Aside from convocation preparation and fee costs there were further inconveniences for alumni travelling with their families back to Karachi.
Of course if there is a government order, our hands our tied but we request that the convocations of the two batches are prioritised before any other events immediately after the situation is normalised. In the absence of a government order please make sure sure to keep the 27th and 28th convocation as per schedule or return the amounts we have spent on our travelling ticket fares etc. There should be no further delays in the convocation.
As alumni we have been very patient, getting our hopes up at every opportunity. We request you to understand our sentiments.
