Dog Warden needed for the Isle of Man

Due to the very recent amount of missing dogs being found and being out of hours, with no one/organisation able to take care of them until owners can be found. We feel that the Dog Warden post needs to be reinstated as soon as possible.
Advice at moment being given to the finder of said animal is to keep in their own home overnight or leave it where they found it and this is not acceptable for very many reasons. So please support this petition.
Also a small rescue on the island has over this last weekend alone had to travel the island and collect dogs, take them back to their property and then spend several hours trying to locate the owners at the rescue’s expense, which is a burden on their limited resources.
This is a serious matter and also with the forthcoming 5th November firework time, many more dogs could end up loose bcause of their fear of the loud noises etc, so please support this, in order that we can try and get a Dog Warden position reinstated and give us all a little peace of mind for the safety of our animals, should they manage to get loose.
