I agree with harnessing energy from tidal power but not at the expense of flora and fauna. Surely there must be more eco friendly sites in Wales.

It is not the right place for a tidal energy scheme.
The damage to wildlife outways the very real need for green energy

I'm signing because I see no good reason, apart from developer profit, to ruin a really great place to visit and enjoy. obviously the local counsellors see this as a good commercial opportunity and nice little earner. The development could easily br located on some of the redundant smelter land.

This will be wilful destruction of a site of national importance and outstanding beauty.

Though the world needs Green Energy sooo much - it should never be at the expense of already established precious wild spaces and habitat! We are facing similar battles on the Yorkshire coast with wind farms etc. This is NOT what environmental activists signed up for - this is lazy development by energy providers taking an easy route to appease the masses.
Electric cars need batteries, these batteries need lithium with is being mined in Portugal causing ENORMOUS devastation to the countryside. Not to mention the load demand they are putting on our infrastructure energy when they need charging! Solar panels need special components which are ripped from the earth in far away third world nations. We are blowing up old power stations - not re-purposing them or working out ow to run them better, just blowing them up. We are dumping our waste in poorer countries so many of our councils can say they are 'recycling', whilst our government makes the minimum investment it can in a sustainable future lifestyle
The rain forests are being destroyed at an unprecedented rate because we all demand wood for our house building, wood for our garden furniture, logs for our 'green' wood burner stoves. 'Bio-mass' aka WOOD, for our power stations (instead of coal which is still in plentiful quantities in our closed mines but needs a filter to keep the CO2 contained)!!! Soya beans are grown to keep the cheap food producers happy, coffee beans for your Starbucks/Costa treat etc. etc. It is madness.
In many ways, the first world nations are the biggest threat the planet faces. If we don't intervene now, the green movement will be the biggest misnomer ever created! And believe it or not, I have supported that GM my whole life, but I do this because I hoped the best minds in the world - like Elon Musk, Dean Kamen, Richard Branson, Jeff Bezos, et al would put their heads together and THINK and INVENT us out of this mess.
Sadly, instead, several of these billionaires are just interested in escaping into space, causing even more devastation to Earth in their efforts to get there. You could't make this up, and like the turkey, I'm pretty much done - or my head will explode. Amen.
Sorry, it's been that kind of a morning, but with all my heart I hope you can fight them off. We'll do all we can to help on Change - just keep us up to date. Good luck.

Tidal and other natural means of energy production are ideal but not at the cost of wildlife. That as others have said already would go against everything we stand for.
