377 Seymour Heights, Salt Spring Island, BC

Our vision is to establish an In-Patient Naturopathic Medical Clinic that provides support for people living with Cancer and Chronic Disease.

We would like to serve our community locally, nationally and internationally.  We are proud to be a part of Salt Spring Island and are excited to share who we are, what we do and how we like to serve our Island.

We are not a hospital, although we hope to provide care and refuge to those people that are seeking preventative health, or are embarking on, are in the course of, or have completed their treatment regiments.

People living with cancer seek complementary support alongside their conventional counterparts (Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, and Surgery) as they significantly reduce the toxicity and side effects of these treatments. We are enthusiastic to be in collaboration with oncologists, surgeons, family physicians, and healthcare practitioners. Health is a team sport, it is something we cannot do alone. Healthcare works best when solutions are strong, developed and driven at the local level.

We wish to make minimal impact on the Wilderness as we strive to have nature be a vital pillar of our therapy. This concept is also known as Shinrin-yoku, a term that means "taking in the forest atmosphere" or "forest bathing." It was developed in Japan during the 1980s and has become a cornerstone of preventive health care in Japanese Medicine.

I support the application to rezone the property from Rural Uplands 1 to a zone variant permitting the existing house to facilitate a Naturopathic Medical Clinic with Patient Guest Rooms
