This petition is simple. All we want is for parents to have a choice if our children wear masks or not at school. We feel that the risks of prolonged mask use is higher than the extremely minimal risk of children getting Covid. California ED code 48900 As of July 2020, kids in grades k-8 can not be suspended or expelled for “disrupting school activities” or willfully defying the valid authority of teachers and school personnel. They have the right to say “No thank you” if a mask is offered. Our children have the right to breath. Please sign this petition to take back control over our children’s lives. We love our school and are grateful for our teachers and staff members. And they are doing everything they can for our kids, but they have to follow the rules they are given. We as parents need to be proactive and show that we want change.
