We are pleading for clemency be considered for Timothy Hinkhouse. Timothy was convicted and given a life sentence for not disclosing to his consensual sex partners that he was HIV positive. Although none of his accusers have tested positive for HIV since, he sits in prison nearly 30 years later.
HIV is not the death sentence it used to be, people can live long healthy lives with proper care & medication. Timothy is presently at Two Rivers Correctional Institution. I am starting a petition to ask others to support him and help him become a free man. He is in fact is very actively using his time to educate other inmates about HIV and other STD's. He not in any way a menace to society. Please sign this petition so that we can get the message to Misha Isaak, or write to him at the following address:
Mr. Misha Isaak, Office of the Governor
160 State Capitol
900 Court Street
Salem, OR 97301-4047
