The prime directive of any school is to educate both academically and socially. It's a shame that our school St. Davids Holy Faith Secondary School, Greystones, does not reflect Ireland's democratic government. Our school is sorely lacking student agency, we make up the majority of the school and should have a voice after all. Our group wish to upgrade our student council in accordance with the training scale provided by the ISSU to grant the student with real decision making power. We believe that this power will improve the overall school experience and teach us respect for our democratic powers. This in turn would complete an important part of our education as Irish citizens.
Our group thinks that it is important the student body have a voice in the school. We need all the support we can get
