Junior cert to not go ahead.

Junior cert to not go ahead.
Why this petition matters
Junior cert students are being put under a lot of pressure , they have had no proper teaching for the past month and a half and for the foreseeable future. It is absolutely unfair that teenagers within the age of 14-16 are being expected to complete a state exam under these consequences. Learning from home is not allowing them to reach their full potential grade and will put a lot of the students in immediate pressure. Students should not be expected to complete the junior cert after Covid-19. Students have no motivation to complete the assigned work that they are being given to do because with no structure or proper schedule they cannot show their full potential. Nobody knows when exactly students will be able to attend school again and get a proper education, how can we the people of Ireland expect them to complete an exam with no proper teaching being done it is absolutely appalling. The Irish government need to think of the students taking the exam and not of themselves. They need to change their ways in order to help their people. With all the pressure that is put on students in these times it is not healthy for them and will damage their mental health. The students taking these exams need to be brought into consideration. I would love if you would sign my petition to Stop the junior cert from going ahead. Thank you.
