Dear Iranian event planners,

We, the members of Iranian Canadian community, appreciate all of your efforts for holding beautiful Persian concerts and other cultural events. You are definitely making an extremely valuable and meaningful contribution to the process of passing our beautiful Persian culture  to the next generation and at the same time playing an important role in organizing happy and healthy events for our community.

As all of us know, an outbreak of Corona virus has happened in different parts of the world including in our beloved Iran. We ask you  to cancel all of concerts and Persian New Year events in March, April  and May and postpone them to the future as a precautionary measure, and in order to avoid any risk of spreading the Corona virus. The experts have recommended to avoid crowded locations. As the result, we believe that in order to safeguard the health of all Canadians including our own community members, we need to avoid attending such crowded  events for a while.
