Dygs are vey near and dear tro me. I have dogs, of which I consider them to be my children. I love them very, very much; more than myself, in fact. So, naturally, I worry very much about the humane condition of other dogs. No more puppy mills ever! Do not exploit dogs for money. It is ungodly to do so...It is no better or worse than exploiting children. It is natural crime against the world, God, and all his creation.

The evil people have no heart they just want the
Money so that’s why the dogs and cats get killed more and more every day.

The shortest explanation of karma that I know is: 'you get what you give'. In other words; whatever you do intentionally to others, a similar thing will happen to yourself in the future. Causing suffering to others will cause suffering to ourselves, causing happiness to others will result in happiness for oneself.

The only humane option is adoption. My hope is that puppy mills will one day be a thing of the past.

I went to ISU for a year and am no longer proud of that, after reading this article. Shame on you.

This is a disgraceful practice and should be totally outlawed. The animals raised in puppy mills are mistreated and damaged. These dogs never experience freedom. This is unconscionable and needs to be stopped. Down with all puppy mills!

Commercial dog breeders - known as puppy millers - create misery on a daily basis. They need to find a humane or non-animal business to get into and the university should be helping them to do that.

Offering courses just validates puppy mills. How can such a reputable institution encourage puppys mills when the industry is already so cruel and inhumane...the industry should be illegal and NOT encouraged. Please stop these courses Iowa University and take a stance for the innocent dogs.

There is an overload of pets that needs home already in the world...there is no need to reproduce in such conditions period, but especially when the supply already supercedes the demand...no excuse.
