I want Iowa State University to reopen the Oak-Elm Residence Hall for the 2021-2022 school year. I was greatly saddened when it closed for the 2020-2021 school year. But I am determined to have them reopen it for future residents! It is an important place, creating an entire dorm for a female-only residence, which is vital to many who identify as female that come to Iowa State. It will allow a comfortable place for living, studying, and creating new opportunities for meeting other like-minded people who also identify as women.
