I have worked in the highway construction industry for half of my adult life. 5 years ago I was one of the first hit when the economy started its down turn. It is important that you remember there are a ton of small businesses that depend on these state funded contracts. Without them, they can't afford to stay in business.

This needs to get fixed now. Just look across the state line to Virginia to see how bad the roads will get without proper funding.

Maryland's crumbling infrastructure needs to be addressed now, before we have major failures. At this time, we cannot even keep up with needed repairs and replacements, much less accomplish new goals.
