MPs must be seen to uphold the laws that they create and stand by. Recently, we have witnessed scandal after scandal where this is not the case. Specifically in terms of illegal substances, there is strong reason to suspect that MPs have been under the influence of banned substances while in the Chamber. To remove the doubt and suspicion, we should mandate random testing of all MPs.
