Im a crps athlete who is also a full time wheelchair user and im on a sled hockey team. I should be allowed to participate in the paralympics since I cant do any abled bodied sports. We should be discriminated against in our community.

Ableism is abhorrent in any context, but especially in the Paralympics! It sounds like an SAT question about irony.

Disabled is disabled. We don’t all fit in one box Having a disability is not a choice, it’s not something people choose the world is going the wrong way. When a man decides that he is transgender and can compete as a women which disadvantages women we all just get on with it but we allow disabled people be treated different because they don’t fit with the Olympic committee idea of what type of disabled person fits their ideas. Shame on them and shame on people who accept this. Disable life’s matter as much as any one else. If you use a wheelchair it doesn’t matter what disability leads you to use it, you use it because of your disability.

I'm signing for every disabled person that has had their passion taken away from them. For every disabled person that is now in no man's land where they don't fit in with abled people or disabled people despite being disabled.

I was a volunteer for a program that helped people find work and some of them had physical disabilities and I have very lucky to experience wheelchair basketball.

And segregation & exclusion in any form needs to end
