International Paper is still listed on the Yale Sonnenfeld list of companies that won't leave the Russian market. In fact, they are still listed in the worst rated category of "Digging In" meaning they are "Defying Demands for Exit or Reduction of Activities" and thus received a grade of F by Yale. International Paper holds 50% stake in the Russian logging company Ilim Timber. They have simply stated that they are considering removing that stake. To date they have not actually committed and are still hoping their PR from simply considering is enough for them to avoid public rebuke. Let's hold them to a higher standard and hopefully this petition will aid in getting them to commit to doing what is right.
