Let Sha'Carri Richardson race at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics

Let Sha'Carri Richardson race at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics
Why this petition matters

Sha’Carri Richardson, who is now the fastest sprinter in America was suspended for one month for so called “doping”. The drug? Marijuana. This suspension will keep her from running in the 100 meters and possibly, at the Tokyo Olympics games altogether.
In a time where Marijuana is legal in 18 states, including Oregon, where Sha'Carri Richardson tested positive and its decriminalized in an additional 12 states, it is now socially accepted. It's used medically for countless illnesses & disorders in many states and countries.
According to a 2017 review by the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport, Marijuana "does not enhance aerobic exercise or strength." It is not a steroid that can enhance your abilities or strength.
This Society has become so hypocritical that we can make something legal but then penalize someone for being human. For trying to cope with the loss of her mother. That shouldn't stop her from going to the Olympics in Tokyo, something that Sha'Carri worked so hard for. We all know people that made bigger & worser mistakes then this.
Tell The International Olympic Committee to reinstate Sha'Carri Richardson and allow her to participate in all her events at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. No questions. And tell The World Anti-Doping Agency to remove marijuana from its doping list. Let Sha'Carri Richardson bring home the gold for the U.S.A!
