It is my hope that you have already been made aware of the genocide occurring right now in the Xinjiang province in China. If you are not, here is the rundown:

The Uyghur Muslims, a Turkic minority native to Xinjiang are undergoing what can only be referred to as a brutal crackdown of their culture, religion and way of life. It is estimated that around 3 Million Uyghurs are imprisoned in concentration camps right under our noses. These camps are, according to the Chinese government, “Re-education camps” - this could not be farther from the truth. According to leaked documents, plus numerous sources, Psychological and physical torture, in addition to sexual assault are commonplace. This is not to mention the “Ethnic cleansing” happening outside of the camps as well, every Uyghur Muslim In China is being oppressed right as we speak.

the 2022 Winter Olympic Games are to be held in Beijing, China. Based upon China’s blatant disregard for basic human rights, it is clear that hosting the largest sporting event in the world in that location is inappropriate. Sign this petition and help me put pressure on the International Olympic committee to bring the location back into consideration and change it, to put out a clear message that committees, coaches and athletes will not stand for blatant human rights abuses.
