Lower the age restriction of the IEM Oakland PUBG tournament

So with the recent news regarding IEM Oakland PUBG and it’s age restrictions, many teams are in a tough spot. This includes newer teams that formed recently, teams that have been in the scene practicing and competing to improve, and even some signed professional teams. We all share these same issues with the 18+ age restriction. We feel that this restriction is unfair and really takes away from the competitive goals of the game developers. These teams have been spending countless hours practicing, building team chemistry, and some even moving locations to practice. And with the recent news, all those hours mean nothing to teams with players under 18. Now these teams are forced to revamp their rosters/play with subs for the event in order to even have a chance at qualifying. This not only hurts the teams that have players under 18, but it also gives teams that don’t an advantage over the teams that are forced to make roster changes. So overall, we just want to see a change in the age restriction to allow for a more competitive event to take place.
