Several health insurance policy holders are being cheated by Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited. This can be verified from Star Health's Tweeter account. In this critical second wave of Covid, hundreds of common people are admitted to the covid hospitals seeking cashless admission. 

Star Heath denies the cashless admission and reject claim stating there is no need for hospitalization. Does that mean that covid specialists, who are well qualified and experts are wrong and only Star Heath claim panel is knowledgeable. 

The time has come that IRDA takes serious actions against Star Heath and Allied Insurance Company and set an example for other insurance companies. 

My wife, who is 62 and has diabetes and BP was advised to get admitted to a covid hospital after her RT-PCR report came positive. All members of my family are affected by covid. I was already in hospital and my son, daughter in law were home quarantined. Our treating doctor is one of the best in Navi Mumbai. Star Health could have talked to the doctor if they do not understand complexity of illness, but they rejected my claim for cashless admission. 

I want to bring this fact about fraudulent behavior of Star Health to the notice of IRDA & Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,  so that stringent actions can be initiated against this insurance company.
