56 million Indians live w/ depression, 38 million: anxiety. 43 mental hospitals in India. 6 states do not have even 1. Mental healthcare = 0.16% of the union health budget. How to fix this? Implement Mental HealthCare Act NMHP.

Yet other companies like Royal Sundaram , Max Bupa, Apollo Munich, ICICI Prudential are not complying with IRDA Circular and not offering coverage for Mental Health.

In a bid to help policyholders, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) has recently directed insurance companies to make provisions to cover mental illness as well. The circular, dated 16 August, 2018 prompt insurers to make available the treatment of mental illness in the same way as the treatment of physical illness.
Still, private insurance companies are not complying with IRDA circular.
Please sign this petition so that Private companies can comply with IRDA circular and start providing Mental Health cover. It will benefit 100 millions Indians suffering from Mental illnesses. These companies must take right action and comply with IRDA circular so that 100 million people can avail mental health coverage as ruled by Parliament in Mental Health Act Bill 2017.
