M.E. accurately describes my illness. Please adopt the WHO definition and name. Let's move on with funding for research and enable physicians with treatment plans.

Please, 27 years of pain, illness, cognitive problems, headaches, infections and bone crushing fatigue-- and they wasted a million dollars on changing a name. Exercise intolerance? Really. I could have told you that 27 years ago when I could no longer run, ballroom dance, bike, ski and practice law full time. Please, treatment and cure in my lifetime.....

M.E. is a real neurological disease known worldwide. CFS and SEID are very vague. Keep it simple sir. Now get CDC to Track M.E. and we will know the full extent of this disease and can track possible treatments

I would prefer ME or ME/CFS. I have ME/CFS not SEID.

We don't need ANOTHER new name! Just drop the CFS and leave it at Myalgic Encephalomyelitis for crying out loud! Any other name trivializes this debilitating disease. If you change ME's name, then you should also change "Cancer" to Tumor.

new name is almost as degrading as old name. "exertion intolerance" is not even a major symptom for most sufferers.

Why is the name of the disease such a problem? It's the disease that's the problem! Honestly, time should be spent on cures rather than pointless reclassification.
