Many residential areas in Deer Run and Queensland have playgrounds and schools along with long stretches of roadway where drivers are inclined to speed. 

We, the residents of these neighbourhoods are petitioning the City of Calgary to install speed bumps, particularly in areas with playgrounds and schools to mitigate any possible deaths or injuries caused by speeding. It is apparent that the school zone signs alone, without any lights or additional preventative speeding measures, are not sufficient to communicate to drivers to slow down.
