As we get closer and closer to climate change being irreversible, we need to take the necessary steps within our local community to make big changes. We could now start in our school. Murry Bergtraum Campus could be a part of helping provide energy to 1,297 of NYC’s residents, and offsetting 7,100 metric tons of CO2 each year which is the equivalent of taking 1,553 cars off the street. It may not be much but at least we can say that as a community we did our part to help, and anything helps.
