1. Auguston PKY South is a street heavy with traffic and has become busier over the years from housing and business development.

2. Many pedestrians are families or unsupervised children on their way to and from Auguston Traditional Elementary School or to and from the businesses at The Station (The Corner Shop and Little Wonders Montessori Childcare & Preschool Ltd.) or to and from other residences.

3. There have been voices of concern over the years of people speeding in their vehicles through the crosswalk at Atwood Crescent and Auguston PKY South and many near accidents of people in the crosswalk as well.

I would like to propose to the city that there are RRFBs installed at this crosswalk to better alert drivers of pedestrians entering or in the crosswalk.
