Georgia's laws and courts are set up so that, (especially in sex offense cases such as the case seeking exposure in this petition), the law enforcement and courts can get away with practicly treating obciously innocent people however they want, fair or not, with no relief available, innocent family's are torn apart and children raised without there parents. Even though there were clear and obvious evil motives behind the accusers accusations to have this man convicted of a crime he did not commit, and no evidence to stand against him other than hearsay statement, that were contradicted and also supported his innocence in trial, this man was sentenced to life plus twenty years in prison. He has already served twelve cold years and cannot find any relief through the courts no matter how the truth is presented. Once convicted, there is no voice behind those walls!! Anyone that would take the time to read and understand would without a doubt see for themselves how dangerous this can be to innocent men and woman who once lived normal lives and the next day lose it all. In this case for example Mr.Lance Cash was accused of child molestation during a custody battle that was about to end in him and his wife being granted custody of his step daughter. While fighting fair to pull his family together, he was railroaded by evil intentions from the opposite party in the custody battle. Unfortunately Mr.Cash was just an average person of the community while the accusers were closely aquainted to the dfacs and law enforcement. There attorney that failed to win there custody case against Mr.Cash also happend to be a judge in the same courthouse and a strong influence to the courts. Mr.Cash did not stand a fair chance in trial at all and this petition is requesting the public support in seeking a fair chance at his freedom. He has already served thirteen years and has not given up fight although any relief doesn't seem possible. No orginizations will take his case because there is no DNA evidence to support his innocence.there being no evidence to support his guilt was not enough. Nothing in this petition is based on hate and is very true. This petition is asking that you, the public, learn the story and nature of this case in hopes that lance cash gets a fair chance at life and other famlis may not fall victim to the same undeserved punishment. Lance cash would have a chance to actually show his sons and daugher the love he has had for them since they were small children. And others may not fall victim to crimes the were not proven guilty of by the courts. Any person guilty or not should have a chance at a fair trial. Lance cash's trial definitely was not fair at all.
