We need more mountain bike trails in the Inner West, Bayside and Canterbury Councils. At the moment there are none! This forces kids to try and make trails, go on to illegal sites, build in places people or councils don't want to be used in this way or ride on walk specific paths. There needs to be a change! 

Trail riding is good for kids and adults alike. Mountain biking provides a full-body workout and engages and challenges the brain. It has been shown that "Mountain biking fights depression, builds confidence, and increases self-esteem. Trail time prevents the onset of depression during adolescence".

For people living in the Inner West, Bayside and Canterbury Councils, it's very difficult to engage in this fantastic sport as it requires travelling a minimum of 1-hour return. 

We need councils to provide this fantastic resource! 

Two suggestions I have is are the Wolli Creek reserve and another is the Bardwell Valley parklands.
