The residents of Barnsbury Grove, Dulwich Hill are seeking support and creating awareness of the hoarding and illegal dumping of rubbish in their street.

There is currently an unoccupied residential property that is being used as a rubbish collection yard and street parking which is taken up by several vehicles filled with rubbish.

This matter has been getting progressively worse for the past five years and is now at a point where is poses a significant fire and health safety issue for all neighbouring properties, many occupied by elderly people.

The matter was first addressed formally with the Inner West Council in May 2021 and there has been a lack of action, communication and transparency on how they are dealing with the matter. 

The residents of Barnsbury Grove needs to see immediate action taken by the Inner West Council. 

All 15 councillors are aware of the issue and are urged to support the Inner West residents.
