You must have heard about various mishappening with students in schools but here I am sharing my personal experience as a teacher which shows neither students nor teachers are safe in schools like THE WISDOM TREE(Greater Noida West) which are only making money through school.
We were around 16-18 founder teachers in this school who left the school after being ill treated by the school heads in the month of November. 4th Nov,2017 (Gurupurab) a gazetted holiday was kept working day for teachers by the school. Keeping in conscious the precious time of the office, we had collectively signed a request to consider it as a holiday, which was taken otherwise. Despite our several requests, the Principal refused to meet any one of the teachers, moreover Headmistress and Coordinator constantly threatened to apologize for same or to leave the school. The teachers waited till 6 p.m. to talk and state their request but in vain. We were shown the gate outside with utter coldness and rudeness.
Since there was no written notice from school side about same we boarded to school as usual on 7th Nov, 2017. After reaching school we were all directed to go to admin block instead of academic block. The Principal Mrs. Sanghamita Das called up bouncers inside the school premises, trapped us in one room and threatened us. Terrified and shook by the incidence we left the school. It's been 6 months, school is neither ready to pay our salary of October and November nor we are allowed to enter school premises. We have filed complaint at SSP office also, but we are still waiting for the justice to be done with us.
Self respect and dignity is the only thing that we teachers earn in our profession. These kind of acts in a school are highly condemn. I request all of you please support us and stand with us against such schools.
