In the medical industry lives are constantly at stake. How do doctor's decide who's life deserves saving first? Is it the young, handsome man who's having a heart attack or the old, overweight woman who's having a stroke? Having to decide who gets saved and who doesn't shouldn't be based on bias. Unfortunately, it is. Ageism, pretty privilege and sexism are three of the biggest stereotypes in the medical industry. Sign this petition and help me raise awareness for all of the minorities in the healthcare system. With this petition I will bring attention to the issues at hand and how to fix them such as unlearning bias courses for hospital staff and post-appointment check in forms for patients. These issues may not affect you now but they can one day. So help me fight the dark side of the medical industry because, I don't know about you, but injustice makes me sick.
