I recently found out that UCs don't follow or employ Affirmative Actions policies when accepting Uc applications. Therefore, UCs have contributed to the disproportionate rate of races in their colleges. There are 4 percent of African Americans enrolled or more minor throughout the nine UC campuses. Not following Affirmative Action Policies is an act of colorblindness. It is trying to justify it by preaching about not wanting to perceive one race as blatantly wrong in trying to be fair in the enrollment process. Being able to color blind is to deny racial experiences. For example, the lack of proper education and help within educational institutions such as High Schools contributes to a lack of fair competition among white American students. This is mainly because they reside in affluent neighborhoods that provide more opportunities and better education to prepare and sustain them throughout college.
